CELEBRATING DISABILITY ACTIVISTS.

IDPD 2017.

This International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD), December 3,  we are celebrating the courage and dedication of disability activists, who are fighting discrimination and empowering disabled people to be included in all areas of society, starting with education and school.

As part of this celebration, we've asked activists – both in the UK and around the world – how education has impacted their lives. A spectrum of global activists working on a diverse range of issues – from mental health, to preventing violence against disabled women – share their experiences of activism and education.

THESE ARE THEIR STORIES.
