The Independent Christmas Appeal

ADD is delighted to have been chosen as one of three charities to feature in The Independent Christmas Appeal.  The appeal runs from December 8th 2008 - January 10th 2009 and will feature stories from ADD's work in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Tanzania, Uganda, Sudan and West Africa.

The appeal was launched with a report on the situation of albinos living in Tanzania.

Myths surrounding disability (December 10th 2008).

Women find their voice on a quest for justice (December 18th 2008).

I was shunned for disability, now I am shown respect (December 27th 2008).

Tanzanian albinos come out of the shadows (December 28th 2008).

Broken but unbowed: a woman's fight for justice (January 2nd 2009).
